Photo Shoot: ME!

While at my parent’s house before I worked on the photo shoot with Hlee and Cindy, Hlee did a photo shoot of me with my Hmong clothes. Although we didn’t have much sun that day we had a great turnout with the photo shoot. I don’t normally stay infront of the camera to model for anyone but since I haven’t taken any photos of myself in a while, I thought it was due time for me to stay in front of a camera for a bit. I don’t normally like to wear the Hmong hats, it makes my face look even chubbier than it is therefore I just curled me hair, pinned it up and put a flower on my hair. The only hat I like to wear is the Phuam Paj, which I still think it makes my face look fat too, only not as fat as the other ones and I do look half decent with the Phuam Paj.

Those are too cute photos. I know how you feel about not having any photos of yourself. With kids and family you’re always the busy one taking photos of everyone else. When people take photos they never give me a chance to pose and fix my hair/clothes so the photos always turn out awkward and I delete those lol. One of my favorite Hmong outfits is the Chinese version (yep with the giant beaded hat) and with an umbrella prop.
