Wat Lao Photisaram, Conley GA

The site is almost back up to normal speed, the only problem is my mp3 player. Since Sunday night, my site went down and then when it was finally fixed there were some internal problem and I had to annoyed my host server to fix it, let’s say in the last 2 nights I have been bugging them to fix some errors I have no idea how to fix. All my plugins somehow got deleted. Well with all that I have to finally upgrade my wordpress and now my new version of wordpress doesn’t support my mp3 player so I’ll have to do some more plugin searching, none that I like so far and when I finally find one, I’ll have to literally go to every mp3 song post and redo my coding, it’s going to be a pain! I guess since I am on a role of fixing and editing my blog, I think I mine as well change my layout/theme also? hummm… I’ll wait and see about that. :)

On Sunday after visiting the Thai New Year and also the Laos New Year, my friend took my sister and I to another Laos temple in Conley Georgia. There wasn’t a New Year event there so we had a lot of time to walk around the area and best part is, my friend’s family are in charge of the temple (something like that) so he freely showed us the Temple. The New Year ceremony for Wat Lao Photisaram will be on May 12 and 13th. When we went by the temple they were still working on preparing for next month’s New Year celebration. I am hoping to attend next month’s New Year at Wat Lao Photisaram.

The buddah Image inside the temple/house that houses the Monks.

the amazing temple, my friend said that the temple relies on donation from its community so they are slowly building the temple up from parts to parts. There are still a few buddah images that will be put outside of the temple.

The huge buddha image in front of the temple

The three headed dragon, not sure what it symbolized but its amazing.

The buddha image inside the temple. This room was simply amazing, it was very authentic inside and out

the outside of the temple. It was amazing!!
