Wat Buddha Bucha

Posted on 15 April 2012

Happy Laos and Thai New Year!!!! Today, Hlee and I had the opportunity to attend the Thai and Laos New Year at Wat Buddha Bucha a Thai temple in Decator Georgia! It was an amazing event! (we actually attended two new years and one other temple, but I’ll post the others one up tomorrow) This was an amazing event and an amazing and well worth experience! Sadly we were not able to go early enough for the feeding of the Monks but were were there for much of the festival. For the Wat Buddha Bucha, we’ve missed the water event but we were still able to walk around and pay respect to the buddhas.

Hlee and I in front of the buddha, making our wish and hoping for blessing.

I’m happy to hear that you finally have a chance to visit a Buddhist temple, this one looks beautiful. I love the last image, you have captured the feeling so well.

Hello, Are we allowed to visit Wat Buddha Bucha at anytime? I am hoping to make a trip there tomorrow from Athens. Is that possible? I might reach there sometime in the afternoon.

Thanks for any guidance you can share!
