2011 At A Glance

Happy New Year readers! 2011 have came by quick, too quick for me in fact but I hope that everyone was able to enjoy 2011 and made the best of what you can! I hope every goal, plan and resolution has been accomplished, if not, may you complete them in 2012!

I’ll have to say this year have been very exciting yet very uneventful for me, if that makes any sense. There have been many changes and yet many things still stayed the same. So with that, here’s 2011 at a glance.

January
-Hmong’s beloved father General Vang Pao was pronounced dead in Clovis Califonia
-Nothing else really happened

February
-My oldest brother got remarried
-General Vang Pao’s long and sad funeral

March
-started my NCIS obsession lol
-started house shopping
-nothing happened this month at all, well at least nothing I can recall!

April
-I’ve discover rock climbing for the first time
-nothing happened

May
-a trip to Destin Florida with a few friends, had the best time in a long time
-Touly Vangkhue’s concert in NC, I couldn’t make it!

June
-seriously, nothing I can recall happened

July
-July 4th Freedom Tournament in MN that I had to miss
-my friend from CA visit, didn’t do much though
-I’ve signed and closed my house, bought my very first house

August
-moved into my very first house
-I am getting older by the year
-I officially became an Aunt, my beautiful niece Ryla was born
-new school/college

September
-baby Ryla’s hu plig khi tes

October
-bought myself a sewing machine ahaha
-a good friend from CA made and sent me a cute Hmong outfit
-made myself two Hmong outfit at the very last minute

November
-SC Hmong New Year
-GA Hmong New Year
-NC Hmong New Year(s)
-Thanksgiving for the first time at my own home

December
-my laptop completely crashed on me
-Christmas with the family
-after a few long weeks of laptopless I finally got a new one
-renewed my online domain
