My Brother’s Little Family

It’s been a very long time since I got into photography and I sure do miss it! This past weekend my sister in law’s family wanted my sister and I to do a photoshot of their family so my sister Hlee and I were kind enough to do a free photo session for them. My sister in law’s older sister actually have a set of lights and some old back drops so we used those sets, not the best but we were able to make it work under the circumstance.
My sister Hlee took most of the photos as I really was there just to set up the lights for her. The lights were very weak and not adjustable so the magic with the light was really done through the camera. Either way we made it work and the photo didn’t turn out so bad. Of all the photos from that session I took this photo, it’s a photo of my brother, sister in law, my lovely niece and my sister in law’s grandmother.
I took this photo but Hlee edited the file. New laptop doesn’t have any editing programs yet, but I will work on getting the programs onto the new laptop.
I am very excited, cannot wait until next year so I can buy myself a set of lights and hopefully get some backdrops along with it. As for now, enjoy the photo!

I’ve been lurking your blog for awhile (I know, weird! :3) but that is still a great photo despite not having the lights that you wanted.
What type of camera and equipment did you use? I’ve looked into getting back drops and lights and they’re so damn expensive!
