Posted on 24 June 2011
Hello, hello, hello! sorry for the delay on doing my how to ua paj ntaub tutorial. I know I had been putting this off but here I am, started. This is part one of the many more I’ll be doing. Sorry for the horrible job at editing but I”ll work on it. Still trying to figure out how to work PowerDirect, the program I am using to edit the video.
For questions post it below under “comments” in this post and I’ll reply back as soon as possible.
above photo is the original photo/pattern my friend had sent me as I had mentioned in the video.

This is awesome. I’ve been doing some paj ntaub for my son. Just to hang some coins on…So I am glad to see some patterns. Thanks, for the inspiration. I LOVE cross stitching, I find it relaxing and soothing.
Youa, I find that cross stitching really help me relax, some people may think it’s weird but it works for me. Good luck on your paj ntuab for your son!
Yes! I am almost done with the cross stitching! We are working our way.
Thanks!!
Hi,
I was wondering why I can’t see the videos. Thanks!
Hnub, do you have flash? it is uploaded onto youtube so if you have flash and is able to play youtube you should be able to play the video just fine. Is there any error message when you try to play the video?
I can’t see the video.. there is no error message either… do I have to make an account and sign in?…that could be the reason why I can’t view the video. thanks.
Hnub, I doubled check my settings and you should be able to view it, no you don’t need a youtube account to view the video and I don’t give readers the options to sign in. This is very weird b/c I checked it under an unsigned account and it worked. Did you check your computer settings if you can play flash? Are you able to view any other youtube videos?
love doing cross stitch. love both of the pattern u have on here. thanks for the pattern, i’ll be using it if you don’t mind. anyways…great job on the video.
Sheng, feel free to use the pattern, I too took the pattern from my friend. It’s always nice to share Hmong patterns!
I was wondering if you could put up different cross stitch patterns. I love the one you have in your tutorial, but would definitely like to see more patterns. I think taking detailed pictures and posting them would work great.
Susan, I will be working on some more patterns and cross stitches soon!
I agree with Susan
More patterns would be nice
Hnub, I am currently putting some tutorials together which includes more patterns and photos.
Thanks! I can’t wait!
thanks for this video
)) it help a lot.
Kelly, I am glad it helped! I am hoping to make some more tutorials as soon as time permits.
Love the colors. I will have to borrow pattern too.
Kat, feel free to borrow the pattern, you know, I’ve realized that we all borrow patterns from each other all the time. I sometimes would go to my aunts house, pull out all her Hmong clothes and pick some patters, take it home and copy it too.
do you have example for the one you where holding…that was done…
Melissa, the one I was holding is the same one, only it was more complete than the one I was working on. When I find the time, i can try to finish the tutorial.
