Ghost Eat Moon Night

Posted on 21 December 2010

Remember what I said yesterday? Yesterday at about 7:00 pm I received a text message from my sister Cindy and her texted read “Momma say. Tonight is ghost eat moon night!!” I was a bit confused by her texted message so I called and and questioned her she than explained that last night/this morning was the Lunar Eclipse thus I had already made plans to watch the eclipse and I did a great job at it. I went to bed at about 9:30 and Cindy woke me up at 1:00 am to watch the Lunar Eclipse. We had clear night sky on a chilly December night and the view of the moon was simply perfect. I checked at 1:20 am and the eclipse hadn’t started yet so I went back inside to warm myself up, by 1:30 I went back to check and it started already  so I rushed into the house and put my camera together, stupid me, I should had done that before hand. Well I did miss the first part of the eclipse. Everything went fine until right around 2:45 am when the clouds decided to block  us from the moon’s view. So I didn’t get the view after the eclipse completed, I was a bit depressed but I was still able to witness the Lunar eclipse. Yeppie!!

John, Thanks so much and thanks for visiting!!! The eclipse sure was worth staying up all night for! It was beautiful! if only the clouds didn’t block the moon towards the end of the show.
