Georgia Hmong New Year, Performance Day 1

Posted on 17 November 2010

Here are the first two dances by my cousins on the first day of the Georgia Hmong New Year. When my aunt had burn the CD for the dance they somehow messed up on the burning and the vocals to both of these two songs/dances were not recorded. Even with the problem with the songs the girls did great, they were on beat with a few messed up part only. If it was me I would had gotten confused and lost since many times when learning the dances we uses the words from the songs as queue to guide us on our moves and steps at least that was how I learned when I dances many hundred years ago. LOL

Nkauj Hmoob Georgia….

Nkauj Hmoob Toj Siab… These girls had came a long way!! They started dancing about 3 years ago when they were all about 5-6  years old. And they had only started practicing about 2 months ago so with the little time they have and practicing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday really paid off.
