Buford Dam, Nature Trail

My friend from NC came to visit me and we went on a nature hike at Buford Damn at Lake Lanier, I wish I had better shoes and some shorts on, but pity I didn’t. I had sandals and a pair of skinny jeans on, boy was I an angry woman! I love nature walks but with the wrong shoes and pants on, it really made me unhappy since it was so hot and I had to drag the sandals along with me. But next time I am going to try to go back on this 4 mile trail with good shoes and pants on! I never realized how beautiful this trail is! I had never actually gone through the whole trail and its my first time, I have to say minus the shoes and pants I really enjoyed the walk! I am looking forward for some more awesome nature walks!
This was our view at one of the benches along the trail. The bench looks out to a part of Lake Lanier, simply beautiful!!

It’s been a while since i’ve been on a nature walk. makes me want to go to our nature center and just go hiking. hahaha. Beautiful taken, Moze.
It would be nice to go back when the leaves change color. I hope to be able to go to the Blue Ridge Parkway this year.
Nye, I am planning on taking some trips to the mountain when the leaves starts to change color and since Buford damn isn’t so far, I will most likely go back!!
Yes, it was a nice trail to go hiking. I really enjoy that trail and that day cause it was a beautiful day minus the heat. It was a nice walk in the nature.
Sorry for making you walk the whole trail with that shoe and that pant. Hehe.
