Indian Mounds Park in St. Paul MN

Posted on 11 July 2010

We biked to Indian Mounds Park twice when I was in MN. My uncle lives not too far from the park so the first time he took us biking riding there; we started from his house than to a new park close by his house down this bike path which lead us to under many highway bridges and then up to Indian Mounds park. We continue the bike riding to the new Hmong Village mall that will be opening up soon then we biked to Phelan Park and continue onto Kelly Regional park and down this bike route then back to Phelan and back to my uncle’s house. It took us a good 3 and a half hours to bike all the way through. It was a good work out, my legs were pretty tired from going up the hills and what not but it was well worth it. The view from Indian Mounds Park was breath taking. Its an over look into downtown St. Paul and a small airport in the area and also on look the Mississippi River.

The second time we went it was just my sisters, a cousin we just met and I. We biked to the park and back only, didnt know the way to all the other places, but again it was well worth it. I really enjoyed the view.

Enjoy the pictures, I didnt get to take much pictures since when we went the second time around we did not have that much time. I was too tired to really do any photography so I just did quick snap shoots.

From the bike path is a nice view of the city. Can you post a bigger picture, kind of small for a photographer. ;)
