i've always been a xab thoj fan since he first showed up in those dr. tom movies. at the time, xab was just like one of the extras. he then went on to star alongside other actresses such as tshaus hawj in that one movie (tsis nco qab lawm but it's got the two of them on the back of a wooden cart puag tim hav liaj). xab then went on to star alongside hnub lis in that "khib ciaj khib tuag" with maiv puv and nomphaj, which in my opinion, was his best movie yet, though i liked (ib leeg tub) a lot more. this documentary, "tij laug xab tour," ua li koj hais os, is very educational on how things are done and how life is like in the old country. needless to say, what makes xab's movies work, they hit very close to the heart, they're funny, and a lot of life's lessons are expressed throughout. the other day, i showed "blaum part 1, 2, 3, 4" to my sister's friends, they started calling each other "koj nplaum ntag, nah uh, koj nplaum los mas"
