So Duce and Logo are hard at work with their music again. I haven’t seen uncle Tou (Duce) in a while, not like I ever see him anyways and last time I saw Anthony (Logo) was a while ago also, I did not know that they had been working on a new song, well now I know. My younger brother had shared their newest MV with me, and thought I’ll share it with the rest of the world, not like it’s hidden away, it’s all over youtube already.
I am not a rap fan, but hey gotta support the uncle right? So here it is, I do not have the lyrics yet, but I’ll get to it when I get the chance to do so.
From the youtube comments, a lot of people are liking the song, not a bad song I say, I guess just another heart touching song for the young Hmong folks out there. A song about living the Hmong dreams and making big bucks and you know the drill.
The MV isn’t bad either, but man oh man, Okay… First off, REMEMBER GUYS, this is a review and I am not here to destroy anyone or to hurt anyone, take this as constructive criticism, OKAY? anyways… Tori, the female background singer, she kinda bug me (Hlee and I agreed to it). Okay, I think she is a beautiful Hmong girl, there is no doubt about it, she’s beautiful and she can sing, what more can you ask for? BUT, what bugs me is, she tries toooo hard to look “HOT” and “SEXY”, I honestly think she can just relax in this MV and be herself, she is beautiful already, when you’re beautiful, hotness should come naturally not through force and it seems she’s forcing herself to look “beautiful” and “sexy”. If she just lay off on that, it would had been great. And then towards the end of the MV, it bugged me how she tried to look “gangsta”, I mean seriously, she just need to relax. Duce and Logo did great, Toj Siab Entertainment did a great job capturing this MV and heck, it wasn’t bad for a Hmong MV.

I’ll try to see if I can get duce to let me sneak peek some of his new songs once its completed, I’ll let him know I am promoting him, I bet he’ll like that (not like he needs more promotions, he’s got plenty already)

Darn, beat me to it. lOl. LIke i said on YT, Tori looks so uncomfortable making the MV a little awkward. The whole bobbing head, finger flipping up and down was a little too much. didn’t think their beat was that hardcore to really be doing all that stuff. But overall, good song though.

After reading your review I had to search Youtube for the MV, and totally agree with you about the female backup singer, lol.
I’m not a rapper fan, but I thought the song is good.
Nye, sorry for having to make you search for the MV on youtube. I was supposed to put it up yesterday, but Sam and I was testing some things out at his site so I totally forgot all about it.
I am glad that you agree with me, now I don’t feel so bad. I’ll try to get the Hmong lyrics in so I can do a translation of it.
