Fried Bass with Tomato Sauce
Posted on 31 March 2010
Now that I am feeling all better again I can finally eat almost whatever I want!! My mom had given me some fish she and my dad had fished and decided to make use of the fishes. So I made some fried fishes in t0mato sauce. It sure was a yummy dish that my mom used to make for us. Mine is of course slightly different from how my mom used to make it, but it’s still very good.
Here is the bass (there’s more than one, but it’s better to just show one)
The Garlic, choppedĀ and diced very fine
The tomato, diced very fine
Onion, dice very fine
Green onion and Cilantro cut in small pieces
First fry the bass in oil, be sure to not touch the fish, let it fried in a non-stick pan until it is cooked on one side and turn it to the other side or your fish will break apart. While I was cooking this fish, I was dancing along to Michael Buble’s “Haven’t met you yet” (oooh I love that song!!!)
I am not great at cooking fish that’s why my fish didn’t turn out the best looking.
Once the fish is done frying, start with cooking your garlic and tomato first then after a bit drop the onion in with the tomato and garlic.
After cooking the first three items (garlic, tomato and onion) add some oyster sauce and black soy sauce.
The last thing to add are the green onion and cilantro
Let all the ingredients cook until ready
Once all your ingredients are completed get a large flat bow/plate and cover the plate with your sauce then lay your fish on top of the sauce and then cover your fish with the rest of the sauces.
Now it’s ready to serve! yummmmmie!

I think your fish is drowned.
That looks really good, one of my favorite dishes. When we were in Laos, my dad ordered that almost everyday and each place fixed theirs differently. I like it grilled also.
