Open Question: Do You Believe in Karma?

Posted on 12 February 2010

Just as the title of this post had suggested. Do you believe in karma, what goes around, comes around? Your reasoning behind it please?

I am those who have a strong belief in karma. I guess you can say it’s how I was raised as well. My parents had always taught me to respect others especially to the elders and to the people who are older than me that are in my generation. Each time I have a dispute with anyone who is older than me (especially if I had an argument with my parents) my mom had always use the whole “Are you not afraid of karma, it’ll come bite you in the back when you least expect it” (something along that line in Hmong). So as I was raised I had always try to consider what will happen if karma comes back to haunt me therefore I try hard to not cross the line of.

It may seem as if the evil and cruel people are winning, but be patient, karma will get them back if not sooner than later.

I sort of feel like Karma is like the law of attraction, you do bad things then it attracts negative things into your life and sometimes it doesn’t happen right away. I had several people at my workplace that did a lot of not nice things and I never thought that I’d see the day that they had to pay back, but sure enough, it came back to bite them in the butt.

Nye, I like how you think of “karma”. I’ve always been raised to believe in karma and I’ve seen it happen. I know we all as human had done one or two not nice things in our life, but some people never learns from it. Karma may not happen instantly, but eventually it’ll get us when we lease expect it.

  • yes!!! and Karma is bitch! That’s why I don’t get all worked up when someone does me wrong. They’ll get a visit from Karma sooner or later.
