The person did all the moving like you, then after that the later comments got moved manually. I don't think you can link the 2 blogs together, like having your old and new blog update automatically if there is a new comment. Maybe you should set your old blog to just showing the last post that you moved. You can do this at your Dashboard of your old blog, go to Setting/Reading/and change the 'Blog pages show at most' to 1, then it would look like you don't have much activities at your old blog, and the last post will direct your friends and readers to your new blog.
