I got it from 1&1 Internet Inc., just the domain name only but they also host if you like. I used to pay $4.99 but it has gone up to $8.99 this year.

MissPhom has a neat website and she also blogs, her fiance is a web designer. This might give you some direction.

I was thinking about getting my own domain and make sure no one has the chance to take it (I am sure no one wants mozemoua lol)... but for your domain, who host it? Is it still with wordpress or do you have it elsewhere? I am seriously considering it and I was thinking maybe instead of just a blog, I can also have like a website including the blog. I am still unsure how everything works.

I still like the free version, what happened to my blog has nothing to do with it being a free version, even the self-hosted blog can end up being in bad situation like mine. If you're not sure, you can always buy the domain, and start using it by forwarding it to your free wordpress account like me, I owned nyenoona.com domain, and people can use it to get to my blog. As for WP free version, they give us plenty of space, and I upload all my photos to my blog, and only use up less than 5% so far. You can always buy more space if you run out.

It's nice to have your own domain and if I were you, I would buy the domain because you'll definitely need it in the future.
