Durga Puja Event

Nicki had invited me to join Amit Paul’s concert with her and to our surprise when we got to the concert location they were celebrating Durga Puja so I was able to take some pictures of the festival. It was my first time attending and seeing an Indian festival, it was fascinating with the beautiful colors and dresses, and these ladies seem very passionate about this event. I had a wonderful time watching and taking photograph of this beautiful event.

I’ve never heard of this ceremony before, I like their colorful outfits and it looks like they took their shoes off for the ceremony, I’ve to read more about this event.
