Sometimes Lots of rain can be bad!

Talking about crazy weather we had had horrible weather here in Georgia. It had rained 8 days straight in a roll with heavy rain storm most of the time. The rain had started early Monday Morning of last week, maybe even stared on Sunday night, but the rain had been coming none stop as each day the rain gets heavier and heavier.
Yesterday the rain had cost many roads to close and some flooding as well, it was insane. I’ve been living here in Georgia for the past 10 years and this is the first time I had ever witness Georgia’s weather going insane. I am sure our rivers and lakes are very happy about this full week of rain we had had, but then on the other hand, it’s been horrible for the majority of us. I actually missed the sun, but then again, I enjoy raining days (most of the time when I can sit back and just relax while I enjoy the nice rain).
It was said that today and the rest of the week will be raining as well, but to my surprise the sun had came out after mid-day today although it did rain this morning. This is Georgia; the weather is unpredictable most of the time. It may look like it’ll start pouring any minute, but then the sun is able to come out and push away the dark clouds, or it can be sunny as day for one minute and the next all you see are dark clouds lurking reading to start down pouring.
The road condition today was much better, no crazy flood mess, but for tomorrow and the rest of the week, let’s see how bad that will be since it is said that it’ll be raining the remainder of the week.
This picture was sent to me via email so I’ve no idea who took this picture, but if I got it correctly it is taken from a Highway Road camera, whatever those are called, but at the same time, it also looks like someone snap a photo from a sky scraper
The picture is on spaghetti junction (I-85, I75 and 285). Good thing I travel the opposite direction and I work about 4-5 exits before the spaghetti junction!!
And then this last one is for humorous reasons only. I’ve no idea who made this; the picture was taken from yesterday’s mess and of course Kanye West at the Grammies. It’s for laughs only, sent to me through email from friends.

Hi! I heard and now read some news online about GA and thought of you. I hope you and your fmaily are alright and safe. It’s so sad during this weather event.
oddly, it’s been dry in my area. I thought Georgia and Florida would have similar weather.
We’ve a similar weather, but not as bad. The sun came out some today, I was happy to see it, but the rest of the week is not too promising, looks like more rain in the forecast. I read about the flood, it’s so sad.
Valmylove, thanks for having me and my family in your thoughts!! none of us was effected by the flood, but I do know that farther down south towards Atlanta, a lot of families are still without homes because of this flood. Good thing is, the sun’s been up, but I think we’ll be getting more rain this weekend.
