So I drive through this town and pass this particular location every day and used to live right next to this city. So I thought I would capture it and share it with yall. I like this particular location b/c it gives me a feeling of living in the early 1900′s. It’s weird I know. It somehow also gives me an abandon feeling towards these particular buildings. Somehow I like.
These were taking around 6pm when the sun is light and soft. It gives me the soft lighting, perfect for good shadows, but too bad there were some huge tress so I do lack alot of shadows.

I’ve never tried black and white photography before, it does convey the mood well…takes you back to the early 1900s.
I passed a town like this once in Upstate NY, it was in the middle of nowhere and the whole town was abandoned, some of the houses were burned down, it was kind of eerie.
Ginger, Black and white only looks good in certain images, for some it looks bettr in color.I thought these looked bettr in black in white. I does really take you back in time with these photos. Thats how i felt when I took these images. Next time when you go back to Upstate NY and pass by that city, you should really take some pictures of it!
WOW.. they turn out very nice… i actually like them a lot.. the blk and white does bring in the mood… YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB ON THESE… i like them a lot…
I wouldn’t know where to find it, I was working for my GI Joe sister during my summer vacation, and we were out delivering some furniture and got lost into this town, it’s very scary looking because there was no sign of life at all, so we made a U turn and came back out.
