Sorry about the terrible translation of this song. I had tried to make it as close as possible, but the way the words are used and arranged, it is a bit hard to translate into the correct terms so the translation might be a little off. Pretty much in this song she is indicating that they love each other a lot, but because his parents does not approve they must go their separate ways. She is stating that life without him is meaningless.
This song is one of the best Hmong classic there is, originally sang and produced by Lis Pos, one of Hmong’s top legendary singers. My cover sucks, I know, but it was only for fun and this song is one of my favorite songs. Maiv Huas Hawj, a very popular Hmong singer from Laos also did a cover on it. I wanted to stream the original song, but I can’t seem to find it from my playlist so I decided to use Miav Huas Hawj’s version. Her version is slightly different from the original version but do enjoy.
Go ahead and rant at how bad I sang the song. LOL I know I am off pitch and off beat and off everything, but then again, I was bored so I made this cover real quick. Oh and my cover is a little low, actually too low but it’s because my mic suck! Lol Oh and be warn, I can’t sing even if my life depends on it!!!
***side note: LEEJ NUS comes out to “brother”, which couple uses towards each other at the “talking” stage of their relationship, it’s also a polite form of talking to a guy from a girls point of view.

Hey. This is a great song in its days. It still resignates in my ears when I listen to it because it was those days that kept me remember my childhood.
