Hey guys.. I did this for my class and thought I should share some of them with you guys. Not the best but do enjoy them
These are from one of my hmong outfit, I am not sure if I had made this one, but I believe I did helped my mom in making the paj ntaub…
Oh pictures were taken as Raw files and then converted to Tif files and then I couldn’t convert it to JPG so I used paint to cut them out so the quality isn’t all that.. LOL..
No photoshop to retouch the pictures at all.. I just used photoshop to convert the image from camera raw to tif and then of course screenshot to paint. LOL
I used my Canon XSi and do not remember the ISO, F stop nor the apperture I had used and I am too lazy to check in my Bridge files..

Very nice craftsmanship.
The top 3 pictures you took were very good too.
I fell in love with these patterns and thinking about making it for pillows and bags. I’ve some bamboo mercerized cotton yarn that I could use, but might try with some simple pattern like straight and zig zag lines at first, but yours are beautiful.
GINGER–Thanks. I hope you can share yours when you are done. I am hoping that I can find the time to make my own, made by my two hands. I have alot of them, but none are all done by myself. The ones I have are normally done by my mom w/ my help or what not, but I think it would be nice to have a whole outfit done by myself.
Dallas–Thanks alot!!!
very pretty!!
These are by-far my all-time favorite designs on Hmong clothing. My mom tells me that I’m old-school for favoring it. I’m planning on sewing again as a new hobby, it’s been a while since I’ve used a needle and thread for paj ntaub.
Barbara, My mom still likes this kind of design and pattern a lot. I like to explore with all kind of patterns and design. You should get into sewing again, I think it’s a great stress reliever, at least it is for me.
I was wondering if you knew how to make the hat if you do can you post the steps
Paj Iab, sorry I don’t know how to make these hats.
