My citizenship inteview has been scheduled!!
Posted on 27 December 2008
I finally received my interview appointment couple weeks ago for my citizenship and I haven’t even started to study. I have about two more weeks to actually study before the actual interview date and I don’t even remember a thing about the American Government and the history. It’s been so long since I’ve been in school that I am a bit worry. I guess if I just study I would do fine, but I haven’t found the chance to study I am just wasting time doing nothing useful. I just hope that he test isn’t hard. I’ve heard that the level of the test depends on your education level and how fluently you are in English. Well I am a college student so they may be a little harder on me. I just hope what they had told me isn’t true.
I get nervous very easily and I also get intimidated quick. If I feel like the interviewer isn’t friendly or thinks he/she is too good or is to high above or what not then I always tent to stutter and feel apart. Sometimes, even when I am so sure of my answers I happen to just trip on my tongue and forget my answer or my comment completely.
I’ve been waiting so long for this moment, I really hope I do pass and don’t be so hard on myself. I really need to make sure I know all my information before that day comes. It sucks because I live about an hour away from Atlanta and my appointment is at 7 am, so that means I’ll have to wake up extremely early and beat all the crazy Atlanta traffic and still make it on time. I am not a morning person; I can stay up all night, but cannot wake up early at all.
I guess what I’ll really need is to sleep super early that night and study hard the week before. Know all my information and just be there on time and try not to worry so much.

congrats and good luck.
you’ll make it, so no worries.
You need to get the test questions and answers, it’s a very standard testing, and the written part is based on your education, they might ask you to write a sentence, but I think you will do just fine on this part.
Let me know if you don’t have the questions, I might be able to find it, or they might have it at your post office.
^^you can also find it on the INS/immigration website.
Please I need to know about my apointment for U.S citizenship, I sent my aplication on 09/26/2007 and I didn’t received date for examination.
my USCIS “A” number is 021609106
Karla—The only think I can say is you should call them. I had problems with mine too, and I ended up calling them (their number should be on the paper that they had sent you with your USICS number). Just call them and tell them that you’ve sent yours our a long time ago and it has past the deadline. THey should make you their priority. GOOD LUCK Karla!!
