Florida.. it's a heaven on earth

Florida was beautiful! There is no real word to express how beautiful it was. It’s not a state I would ever plan on living in, but it’s a state I know I would truly love to visit. Everything about Florida was beautiful. Our stay was short so we weren’t able to do much and go to many places, but it was still worth the trip.

 

We arrive in Florida early Friday morning, and believe it or not, as soon as I step on Florida ground, I was already bitten by those fire ants there. Boy was I mad, but I got over that soon enough, only it was no help when I kept getting attached by other nasty insects they have there. I guess that was the only REAL down fall of my Florida trip.

 

Our Hotel room was not the best, but hey, we were hardly there. We only returned to the hotel to sleep and are always out doing something or another. It was pretty bad, when my friend and I checked into the Hotel they gave us a room, got up to the second floor, and the room was not made, it was a total mess. We called the front desk; got a new room, only this room the restroom door couldn’t lock. Lame, don’t you think? But regardless, we took the room anyways.

 

Our first day there, we stopped by the Plumeria garden and green house. It sure was beautiful. I ended up purchasing two beautiful Plumeria plants. The leaves were green, but there are no blooms on it. I’ll do my best to keep these two alive as everyone may know now; I have no green thumb what so ever. But it would be great to have the plumeria’s alive and thriving by next season. I am keeping my fingers cross.

My friend’s cousins and friend did a great job showing us around town and showing us a great time. The beach was beautiful. We were at the beach and or the pier at least once a day which makes the trip all the better. I love the feeling and breeze around the ocean. It was most beautiful when the sun was setting. A small vacation house next to the ocean would be so great, but of course, I’ll have to work hard for that. I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the beach and the ocean. It made me feel like there were no worries in the world and it makes me feel most happy. I truly was happy. The breeze makes the feeling even better. It was just a feeling that you can’t get anywhere else. A feeling that makes you feel like you can be on top of the world.

I really needed this vacation, and I am glad I was able to take this short vacation; I did not want to return home. If only I can stay much longer I would have gone to Orlando and Miami, but I am sure, this won’t be the last time I’ll be going to Florida. Next time I’ll go down to those other cities when I am able to save more money. Clearwater, Tampa and Fort Desoto were great.

I enjoyed the night market. They have so many different selections of fruits. It was something very different from what I am used to. It’s just a flea market at night with fruit stands. It is very different.

Now that I am back, I need to catch up on the two episode of “Gae Roy Rak” that I had missed!!!
