Oka… so I was bored, making calls at work and decided to translate my favorite song by The Sounders. It’s a pretty rough translation, but it’s my favorite song by them (I can listen to this song over and over and over again, and would never get tire of it) so do enjoy.

 

Here’s a little info about the sounders first. They are an All Hmong rock/alternative/pop band which had been around for the longest. Their first album was released in the early 1990’s and still today, they remain one of the best Hmong band (in my opinion). They only release an album every couple of years, and once they do release an album, it always blows me away by their great lyrics and their originality. It’s been about 6 years since they had release an album, and I am looking forward to a new release album by them SOON.

 

What I like most about The Sounders is that they are an All Hmong band, their music only consist of Hmong lyrics (except for the word “Baby”). Not just that, they only produce an album every couple of years which means they put a lot of effort in their work, and when they do, all their lyrics are really meaningful. Everything they produced is their own original work, nothing that had been reused. All their lyrics and rhythm are all original with no exceptions.
